This post will contain some venting so please excuse that:P But it has some valid points as to how Cancer is represented and spoken about within Astrology.
Seeing Cancers watery presents and dispositions being compared and contrasted in such a method (and so frequently) appears unneeded and incorrect to me. I didnt come to Astrology so that it might make me feel weak and uninteresting in comparison to others and simply stereotyped as a 1950s homemaker, specifically when the domestic predisposition apparently intrinsic to Cancer is completely opposite to my nature. And Im sure numerous other Cancers feel the same way.

I genuinely find it an excellent shame that the one indication ruled by the Moon, the Queen of the paradises, the fantastic womanly, a sign of magic throughout all of history, is so looked down upon and misunderstood. It doesnt assist that the Moons standard rulership over creativity and intuition were wrongfully stripped away from it (and Cancer) and given over to Neptune. I also need to question at what point did “mom” become equated to the word weak? Now thats the real concern. Thanks for reading, any ideas on this would be extremely welcome:-RRB-.
Ive noticed a typical pattern in books/articles/videos both by expert astrologists and novices alike. Its the consistent comparing of Cancer to the other two water indications in an unfavorable way.
