Juno is the third of the major asteroids discovered and used in chart interpretation by astrologers.

Hailing as the reigning queen of the gods of Mt. Olympus, Juno/Hera is often construed as jealous and vindictive. It really all depends on how you look at the situation.  If Zeus never talked with her about having a polyamorous relationship and establishing their boundaries, it’s easy to understand why she did some spiteful shit.

Astrologically, Juno has qualities that are very similar to that of what is represented by Libra and the 7th house (relationships, partnership). More specifically, Juno is said to represent marriage and our spin on the construct of love/romantic relationships. She is sometimes interpreted as the ways in which we establish boundaries with our love interest.  To what extent do we share and bear all vs. holding back? Given this comparison, you can easily see how a Juno in Virgo might be drastically different from a Juno in Leo. There are also theories that a person’s Juno placement will show their propensity for jealousy and bitterness. Either way, a person is bound to see some sort of pattern in regards to what they need to feel satisfied in love or romance.
