Today is the 56th anniversary of the March on Washington, a significant celebration in itself and as the event where Martin Luther King Jr. provided his famous “I Have a Dream: speech. I dont now about any of y all, however it can be so easy for me to get involved pessimism about my own life and the state of world affairs that I forget whats possible and dont actually permit myself to dream. Today, we remember a male and a while motion that combated tenaciously for civil rights, pushed outside of the narrow paradigm of the time, and showed the world what radical idealism could look like. We can only intend to embody such a powerful force for modification and possibility today.
